Well ive been away from eblah for 2 years after I had loads of problems with a forum. We have been around VB, PHPBB and a few other forums but Ive come back to the best.

Hopefully second time around things are more secure and much better improved. I hope so cuz I have a big project starting soon.

Hi to Martin, Justin and the rest of the team.

Regards,

Jason.

You remember me then Martin? Good memory! Ive learnt a bit in the 2 years ive been away from here... main thing I learned was to come back to the best forum software!

I will have loads of questions for you soon though so be ready lol. The bike forum is still going well so I am looking to bring it back to eblah but that is something I will need help on!

As for everything else, I am just getting refreshed on how it all works again but I just completed a full install without problems and made changes to the template, all within the hour and without any help!!!

Of course I remember you, I tend to think/hope that when we don't see Members that all is running smoothly, can't recall the problems you had that made you switch to inferior forum software  :)

Just goes to show how good it is, easy to install and manipulate  :)

Fire away with the questions, always willing to help where I can.

The problem was with the duplicate members 250 at a time and a few other crazy things that kept happening but I think a lot of it was down to heart internet!

Well, to start with I need an extra field in registration if you can point me to it. Not sure where the mods are here but I did a full search and couldnt find it.

Also, if you could point me to the shoutbox mod, that was a good one and very popular before.

Another one would be help with moving from pbpbb3 to a new eblah for the bike club site. Thats been needed for a long time lol.

Also, is it possible to have the forum on the left at about 90% and use the rest for some menus to other parts of a website on the right?

The ExtraRegistrationFields mod here works with the latest version of E-Blah

http://www.eblah.com/forum/m-1211527480/s-new/

Shoutbox mod is in the same place, but holler if you get stuck with anything.
