I'll be in Scotland this time next week. Hopefully with the tent up enjoying a bevvy or 2. Inverness, and then John O'Groats on Friday!! Let's hope the midges leave us alone!!

I have to say that of the whole trip, by far the best part is once we get to Scotland. On the Thursday we go from Moffat to Dumbarton (for breakfast) and then up by loch lomond, glen coe, loch ness. I love it! Also, as lead car it is nice to be able to throw the map away because the route is quite simple then! I'll give you a wave as we go by. There'll be 17 minis and a backup van! :)

we do get a few looks along the way.. some waves, some horn blowing....
we'll be at richard charnock tuesday night - bit of luxury - a night off from the tent and a travel lodge on the M6 - we know how to live it up!! ;D ;D
