E-Blah Community / E-Blah Features / Recent Forum Activity improvement

The members are enjoying the recently added "Recent Forum Activity" section, and have suggested an enhancement.
When they click on any of the last post listed on the Index Page, they are taken directly to that post.
However, when they click on any of the posts listed in the Recent Forum Activity section, they are delivered to the start of the thread concerned, and are moaning about having to click through to the end of the thread in order to see the last post made there.
Could the post links that are shown in the Recent Forum Activity be modified so that they have the same behaviour as the Last Post links given on the Index Page?

Are you using 10.3.5? New threads work the same way as they do on the Message Index, I use it all the time to send me to the last thread. :)

Yes, latest version 10.3.5 went in shortly after release (I like the easy life now, so don't play with the nightlies now ;) ).
If you are getting the last post of a thread when following a link from Recent Forum Activity, then it would seem to be some sort of local issue at our end.
When I followed the link here for the Where did you hear about E-Blah? thread which is currently showing in RFA, I am being delivered to the first post in the thread, which begins where where you ask "Well, as the subject says ... where?", and this is the first of eight pages.
This is the same behaviour as found on our forum, and to see the last, or most recent, post, I then have to click on the eighth page link, and scroll down to the page get to the last massage posted.
Oh well, not to worry.
Any setting I may have made (or not made) within the forum admin that would change the presentation order for this option, in case I've missed something?

Well, if you've never read the thread it's going to take you to the latest thread. Is the URL showing /s-new/ when you click them? Further, after you read them they are no longer "new" so you will be taken to the first post.

Well done sir! :)
I got so wrapped up in looking at what had been described I never noticed the change from having /s-new/ appended to the URL if the new thread had not yet been read, compared to the plain thread URL once it had been read.
Obviously (or at least obvious now that you have pointed it out) when I repeatedly kept looking going back to look at what I'd been asked about, I was always seeing the url without the /s-new/ and didn't realise it was missing/removed. Of course, when I looked at fresh, unread additions, they were correct.
I'll educate the members, and myself! ;)
Thanks again for solving this. Like I said in the preceding post, I had to be missing something (obvious).
