E-Blah Community  /  Language Support  /  Hard coded charset in E-Blah
Posted by: Vzx, April 30, 2007, 9:17am
I've finished translation of E-Blah 10.2.5 into Russian, but there are some problems with charset in E-Blah files such as "Routines.pl" (here we can find "Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit" besides charset, but it is not good for Russian), "Calendar.pl" and "common.js". I may change charset by means of editing these files, but I think it's not a good way for everyone. Justin, could you be so kind as to move these settings into lng-files in future versions of E-Blah?

You'll have to edit and package common.js with the language package.  The character set in Routines.pl has been brought up, as it's for the mailing of stuff.  I've not yet looked into doing it though.  I'll go on my bug list.

Justin, thank you very much for so quick reply!

Please, pay attention to Calendar.pl and Print.pl as well, because subroutine CalendarRSS in Calendar.pl contains ISO-8859-1 charset and PrintDisplay2 in Print.pl contains UTF-8 charset.

Fixed those, they'll be included in the next version.  :)  common.js cannot be fixed though, so you'll need to add it to any language packs.
