E-Blah Community  /  E-Blah Bugs  /  smilies and post buttons not working
Posted by: thanetm, October 10, 2006, 5:12pm
i've upgraded to the latest nightly, but now the add smilies buttons and the format message buttons don't work. Also one of my members commented that the font size in the signature is no longer being applied!

i've double checked I uploaded everything but am now out of ideas and sorely in need of sleep.... ttfn ;D

Ah, our first victim.  :)

E-Blah was changed to XHTML 1.1 last night.  Font sizes are now done in pixles (10px, for example).  You'll need to change to like [size=12] for a normal sized font and such.  It's one of the pains, but it was needed.

The bc.js file wasn't included in last nights nightly (as it should have been).  I forgot it.  :P  I attached the one here.  It should fix the Format Message issues (you'll need to do a CTRL/SHIFT+F5 though).

There are a few new tags to add to the template.  You can view them here (check my template: http://www.eblah.com/template.css).

I'm moving a few things to CSS to make the forum a bit more customizable.

Yeah, that's taken out of XHTML 1.1, :P.

How do you like the new mini-profile look here on EBlah.com?  :)

i'm loving the user online/offline images.

still getting used to the left aligned info. think i prefer the 'title' on a separate line to the info coz, for example, time online looks weird when it has to wrap.

i love looking in the nightlies for the new goodies.... and if things go a bit wibbly my users love pointing them out to me ;D

Well, you can still use the "fancy" style of the profile, I just turned it off because it's twice as long.  :P
