I'm no forum guru like many others so I got a friend to help with this. The website was built by me though...
http://www.125bikersclub.co.uk/125forum Unfortunately we have had some recent problems with members and had to make it members only who can read it. Is there a way of setting up a guest account where people can look but not post?

In the Admin Center under Boards and Catagories. Just set the permissions.

What I actually meant was setting up a member called guestuser and the password being something like guest so that they can come on as a member (as we are now making it members only that can view) but that guestmember can't post messages.
Is this possible?

You could with P9.5+, but you shouldn't do that, just disable guest posting.
