I decided that I would release the next installment of E-Blah tonight.  Everyone welcome E-Blah Platinum 8.2!  ;D  With this release comes many bug fixes, a few new features ... and a brand new look for the reputation system!  I've spent the last few days in order to make this release all the more special.  :)  I hope everyone likes it (and if you requested a feature and I said I'd add it ... it's still on my list).  Everyone enjoy, and I hope you had a very blessed and very merry Christmas!

Changes in this version:

• Clicking on the "Search" button while on a board selects the board you were on (no longer ALL boards selected)
  
• Recoded the Click Log
  
• Added a RSS news feed, ex: ?v=shownews,a=headlines
  
• Added Upcoming Events to the Calendar
  
• Menu buttons can now be customized a little more, spacing wise (zebragrrl)
  
• Added comma code to "Total Members" in Stats page
  
• Member Groups are now sorted in ABC order via Members list
  
• Various sorting
  
• ?v=shownews now can ALSO show diffrent boards by (b=BOARD ID) (OthelloBloke)
  
• Expanded "Reputations" to be a little more "statistic" driven
  
• Fixed "Switch to" menu
  
• Fixed profile edit bug where you'd get "blank or invalid fields"
  
• Fixed "full boards shown" bug
  
• Redirect boards now cound as "subforums" list
  
• Category with nothing but subforums no longer says "there are no boards ..."
  
• Security -- Fixed where unvalidated guests could see member only boards
  
• Quotes are more friendly (quote=USERNAME), no longer including the link, etc, which can be confusing

I upgraded my 2 boards in 10 minutes after i backupped them.

I only had to chmod a few dirs/files after the upgrade.

what a prezzie, upgraded this moring in minutes. Need to play now and find how to use the RSS news feed. Couldn't see anything in the admin panel.

I think i found a bug in the new version?  Had this problem on two boards...

If you look here: http://www.othellobloke.co.uk/news/ - at the cut off point, it displays the html for something?  But when you go to the news board, it doesn't show.

Nah, that's just something that happens with the length of the news item.  :-/  I've tried my best to strip all that stuff, but it's difficult.

Having a look, I can see it is tied up with the portal, but how does it actually work.  It is great to have an RSS feed for the forum.

I tried to open the news in SharpReader (File/open RSS feed).
This gives an error:
Error parsing RSS XML: Undefined root element: tr
Please try to validate this feed. If this feed validates as correct RSS
Click here to validate

it works now, had to paste the xml file in my newsreader:

Is there any other way I can help with Eblah?

Also...I was trying to get my signature bottom aligned and discovered this typo in Load.pl, just below this line:

you've put valign="botton" instead of valign="bottom".  

Thanks, the typo has been fixed.  The best way to help E-Blah is to advertise and donate.  :P  I do all the coding on my own, so I don't really need help there.  Craig loves people to help him with the help docs I think.  You can also help our job out around here by answer tech support.  :)

the new clicklog look is nice too :)  but you cannot click on the ip numbers to see the username anymore....is that my fault ooor a new thing?

Just didn't put that.  *shrug*  I might readd that ... that other click log needs a recoding as well.  :-/
