As a new month comes along ... so does a new E-Blah version (sometimes).  Here it is.  Several bugs and little things have been fixed or added to 8.1, including the Moderator Log (admins only), along with various other updates (top 10 and such should hopefully be fixed), among several other new things.

So head on over and download 8.1. ;D
Download Platinum 8.1

Cool 8)

BTW, the topten page is showing a link to a second page, but that gives an "The search you specified is invalid." error. :)

There has been a major fix, so I'd recommend those who JUST downloaded redownload the current version, if not you WILL have problems.  Also, I had to delete a few log files, as there was a problem with that.

For those of us who have modded scripts, would it be possible / practical to provide a bit more information about which scripts are affected by an upgrade, and how, so that we can avoid accidentally overwriting a user mod in a script which didn't need to be overwritten anyway? Just a thought.

A lot of the core files are modded each time, so actually stating which files were updated wouldn't be good because some would be left out ... :-/.

Ok.... so then best bet is to back up the forum and our colours and such and then just re-insert everything?

Just backup everything.  If you follow the upgrade instructions the Members, Boards, various other settings, and Messages will all stay intact (along with you settings).
