Without doubt this is the best possible feature that could be added to eblah to make it the leading MB software.  Quotes are fine but if different discussions can follow their own path it makes it far easier when serious matters are being discussed.  With a flat view it works okay for the first few posts, or if only two or three people are discussing something, but its just gets to messy when interesting subjects come up.

In almost every other aspect eblah is at least as good as any other forum software.  

It would require much rescripting, but it would be worth it!  I'm pulled towards going to Phorum but I really would prefer to say with eblah.  You guys are great at coding and surely you enjoy a challenge ?   ;)

I've thought about it.  But we really can't.  Why is because the entire system moved away from threaded view while it was being coded and adding such a feature would require a lot of recoding.  Everything in E-Blah is completely diffrent, and I've tried to move as far away from threaded forums as possible.  :-/
