honest, I don't know what I can do at your lovely board.
I watch only the news and some sport on TV.

I see many movies on DVD. I have big collection of classic films. I have no time for TV. every free moment at home I am in front of the computer, run my own eblah board and listen to music.

But your board is cute, and it will be a success if you have the energy to
keep up the good work.
Posted by: TheQueen, August 4, 2004, 2:04pm; Reply: 13
Wow! Honestly the Webzine is about TV (but even THAT is expanding - this september) We just like people who have strong opinions to talk about anything.

If you think your an expert on Classic Movies that talk about that or News or anything that interests you!

But join if only to say the occaisional hi.

my english is not that good to chat about movies. but
I CAN DO SPORT PREDICTIONS WITH THE TAROT.
This is what I like the most, if you are interested.
just to help you start...

sure! I think they just started a sports section! Interesting how little I do and that place still keeps marching. lol

your server condition is the best I have ever saw. it is online 100% and very fast. so until I will be ready with
my own new eblah DVD forum, I point http://a-ma-zon.com/ to my posts
at your server.

it might add some visitors.

I also did it with http://jamesdvd.com

sometimes you need easy to remember URL to point at you

because I speak "little english" only I made it as simple as a - ma - zon

http://a-ma-zon.com/

Posted by: TheQueen, August 9, 2004, 10:40am; Reply: 19
how do you do that?
Posted by: hapoel (Guest), August 9, 2004, 2:21pm; Reply: 20
to increase traffic you need more than one domain. if you have the budget you can buy many domains with inexpensive prices.
the pointing done by  dns redirection services.

the price for domain can go from $6 to $30.

so why pay one for $30 if you can have five for $30.
Posted by: TheQueen, August 9, 2004, 2:29pm; Reply: 21
hmmm tell me more. Can you PM me?
Posted by: Nat, August 9, 2004, 5:22pm; Reply: 22
You buy a domain name, and if you do it right, they are very cheap... Then you can direct the domain name to your site... It like "cloaking" the new domain is in a frameset, that is set to zero, so it looks like it is your site...
Posted by: TheQueen, August 10, 2004, 1:38pm; Reply: 23
Thanks Nat but I think you guys think I am more advanced then I am. I LITERAL put together my website using a http for dummies book and the guessed the rest.

SO I am not sure how to do what you are saying
Posted by: Nat, August 10, 2004, 3:58pm; Reply: 24
Nothing wrong with your web site :) It does not matter how you built it, the important thing is that it works, so good on you :)

OK, the domain name that hapoel set up, is in fact just in a frameless frame, so the domain name shows up in the web browser, but the actual page a visitor sees is your site...
Posted by: TheQueen, August 11, 2004, 10:30am; Reply: 25
How does that work. Can you explain that to me in simple terms that I can follow. I have not idea what a frame set is.
Posted by: Nat, August 11, 2004, 12:56pm; Reply: 26
OK, a frame, is like two windows in your web browser, you will have seen this, where you clcik a link in one place, and the link makes a new window open, but in the same browser... so if you look at the source code at http://a-ma-zon.com/
you will see that there is a "invisible" frame, which is pointing to the page that has been set up, so in this case, here is the source code...

I will try with my "amazing" english.

I own a domain called ama-zone.com

when you go to http://ama-zone.com/
you get this message:
Internal Server Error
The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.
Please contact the server administrator, webmaster@eblahforums.com and inform them of the time the error occurred, and anything you might have done that may have caused the error.

More information about this error may be available in the server error log.

the Internal Server Error is not at http://ama-zone.com
it is at http://eblahforums.com/nim

now, I take one of your pages, say http://therealityroyals.net/cgi/royalboard/Blah.pl?,v=mindex,b=new

and I point what nat call "a frameless frame" another URL.
in this example:

http://www.WhatWomenWant.COM.ama-zone.com starts forwarding to http://therealityroyals.net/cgi/royalboard/Blah.pl?,v=mindex,b=new
(the new URL is cloaked)

Okay I GET IT! Actually I really understood the trick when you showed me the html code. I somehow GET that.....lol.

Okay so now the question is there a place I can go to to buy these alias url pointers? And what do you suggest I use? Also, does this mean I have to register the new names. Oh and one more thing my domain has free subdomains (ex: http://anything.therealityroyals.net)
Posted by: hapoel (Guest), August 11, 2004, 1:35pm; Reply: 30
subdomains will not make traffic. only domains will do. you need to buy domains and to point them to your URL. I already sent you Pm about the prices I know. the minimum I found is $6 a year per domain if you buy more than 10.
and anything that is not dot com is worth less.

If you find domains for less than $6 a year, let me know.
Posted by: TheQueen, August 11, 2004, 1:49pm; Reply: 31
Yes I know how much they cost but where do I buy is my question.
Posted by: TheQueen, August 11, 2004, 1:59pm; Reply: 32
Also my account says that I have access to 5 virtual and 5 default pages.

Is this the same?
Posted by: hapoel (Guest), August 11, 2004, 2:12pm; Reply: 33
I buy mine from a guy called kenny. he also does the cloaking.
sorry, I have no idea what are 5 virtual and 5 default...
can you PM with their description.
