It's at
http://forums.ffenigma.co.ukIt's nowhere near complete, but I've added some cool features (I think ;D)
Such as:
Gaining a random amount of money each time you post
Being able to chose a character name, race and class
Added an RPG area in the member center
It costs them gil(money) to edit their character info(100) and if they have 99 or less when they click on edit character they just see the current stats in text format (no forms etc)
Also, all the info (money, chara name, class and race) are displayed in your profile and next to each post you make.
So you can see what the member center RPG area looks like both with enough money, or not enough money:
name: test password: test Has enough money
name:test2 password: test2 Doesn't have enough money
Only the Character creation link in the RPG area goes to the correct place at the moment, but have a look and tell me what you think!
UPDATE - I now have max and current HP, with a HP bar that that changes when current HP is reduced, pictures for each class, an area where you must first 'make your character be born' (gives you current and max HP depending on your class - some start with more, others with less), I've made the rpg character stats on the message display into it's own small table (the whole table is a giant link).

Yeah, sure but I'm in the middle of testing it - I keep finding things that have went wrong (badly wrong on one occasion) because of it. But as soon as I've got it all sorted (and rememberedd which files I've actually changed ;D) I'll send you the files.

Neal, it also be nicer if you could make it somehow like in vBulletin board, the admins/mods could minus the amount of money if the user do something wrong in the forum (a way of giving fine to members).

I've managed to get the battle part of my forum started - I only have 1 enemy but the battle (hp being reduced etc) works great. Heres a pic of what it looks like:

Thanks everyone! But things aren't going too well at the moment :'(
I thought everything was sorted, but I've found out that stats such as amount taken off by an attack aren't showing until the next run through.
i.e. you take off the damage - it's written to a file, but not displayed until the next amount of damage is taken off (it's 1 step behind itself if you see what I mean.

Just a simple question .. where to find that awesome Mod ?
Posted by: sundance, January 26, 2005, 8:45am; Reply: 24
THAT is sweeeeet.
Besides the incredibly nifty mod... I can't imagine the work that went into those graphics. Talk about dedication to change the 150+ images for the board.
I'm impressed by that alone! :K)
Well Done!
