I have downloaded the German Laguage Pack, but the MemberPanel.lng is missing.
Has anyone translated this file ???

The pack is for version 2.9, not the newest versions. We need translators for the latest version ....

ya... member's panel did not arrive until platinium, if I did'nt remember wrongly... or was it 3.1B? ;)
should not be difficult to translate as the base is there. Just update the Lng files with those new lines.
Unlike the chinese version, which need to start from square one. Grrrr. still got 4 more 'bloated' files to work on.

To do a translation, is it just a case of taking say, the English language pack, and replacing the English words for say German? then saving at as germanLNGpack ??? If this is the case, then I may be able to get some one to help me do this in German, and may be even Spanish.
It does look pretty simple enough?? but probably not! ??)

Just translate everything (images included), and send it to me, I'll format it so people can use both Spanish, English, German, and Chinese together. ;)

But I think I know a couple of people that may be able to help with this :)

Question ???
What is with the "Umlaute" like Ä,Ü,Ö ?
Transform them to ae, ue, oe ?
Other question.
For example I take the admin.ing
$admintxt[5] = 'None Installed';
Now the german word for admin is " Verwalter ".
Should I do not touch the $admintxt[5] ? or like this
$verwaltertxt[5] ='Nicht installiert'
or
$admintxt[5] = 'Nicht installiert';
Same thing with calendar.ing
German is Kalendar
Thanks
Regards
Bismarck

$admintxt[5] = 'Nicht installiert';
$admintxt[5] -- that's an array variable. Don't touch it or it won't work.

Is the existing Greman pack on the download section not compatable with the current version of eblah??
It would be really good to get some current language packs that work with the current version of eblah.

I think not!
There is a differnt count of files... and the graphics are not the same at all.
In the download-scetion ist written
Quoted Text
German (compatibility: E-Blah 2.9)
and
Quoted Text
E-Blah Platinum 5
Seems not to be the same!
