E-Blah Community / Language Support / Chinese Characterset Display Problem
Posted by: danielck (Guest), June 3, 2003, 7:14pm
I would like to solve this problem before I release the Traditional and SImplified Chinese Pack for this forum system:
Many people who are working with foreign language pack seems to encounter this problem.
If we load the forum using another encoding (for IE), the forum will not display properly. (see the attached image)
Is it the forum software programing or server side problem?
We are using this encoding for the following chinese language
Traditional - Big5
Simplified - GB2312, GB18030, GBHZ
Anyone encounter this problem? Care to comment? :)

I solved the problem. I searched through the code for solution. Finally, I find there is a typo in template.html. The "<" was changed to "?". Now, it works fine! It is really a excellent script!
