Each time I try to upload a file to a post, I get an error message. All files that I have tried to load are from 10K to 1MB and I keep getting the error message "The file could not be found on your computer." What am I doing wrong?

1. Check the upload dir to see if it's right (where it uploading to)
2. Check upload URL
3. If you're not a NT server, check the box under Upload prefs
I'm not exactly sure how to fix it, since I've never seen the bug.

FluFFy is right on this one, it most likely is your dir to the uploads. Make sure it's changed correctly.

Our upload settings aren't set correctly. :) That's why you'll get an error. hehe
JavaScript errors mean you gotta change the location to bc.js ... also, make sure it's uploaded in BINARY!!

Make sure the folder you are trying to upload is chmoded 666 ... it MUST be WORLD WRITABLE.

Works here, 666 didn't work on this server (which this server is odd compared to a lot of other servers :P) ... however, I did CHMOD it 777 (2777 on my server, for GDI or something like that), but do 777 if it doesn't work.

Justin,
What was that command that you had me enter to get the dir? I meant to write it down and forgot.

It's a Perl Enviroment String from finding the document directory, and works on most servers ...
$ENV{'DOCUMENT_ROOT'}

I've got the same problem before! ??)
My directory setting is correct, and using Linux server, I've tried the permission setting for "Upload" directory is 666 and 777, both doesn't work! and finally, I tried chmod 2777, and it works!;D

Depends on the server, 2 is like GUI or something, and on this server, I have to have it set to that too ... it's diffrent, but it's cool. lol
