Are they all the same IP/IP range?
Have you acces to your host cPanel?
If yes to the above, use the cPanel to ban the IP and all will be good...

have you got captcha ebaled, plus email verification? You will always get the odd manual spammer, indeed I have just removed on from this forum. But email verification will help you

As Nat said, make sure you have Administrator Verification enabled and in each of your Board permissions tick the boxes so Guests and Verifying Members are not allowed to start or reply to posta.

I'll try next week but I had a quick look and tried to register and I see that Assira is enabled. This will stop automated registration so who ever is doing this is targeting the site and will probably just give up when they realise that they can't post or reply to threads.

I am having the same problem - tons of new members.  I only have the E-Mail and Administrator validation options enabled, so that is my fault that they are getting so many registrations in.  But my more pressing problem is that these accounts are starting new threads and replying to existing threads in my boards.  I have verified that every board has no rights for "All Guests" and "All Validating Members" and they are still posting.  Do I need to remove all the rights for "All Registered Members" as well, and just use the rights for the Member Groups?

I am running the latest version of E-Blah from the GitHub site.

Having same problem too, its only started since baidu spider started crawling our forum untill then we manage to run our forum without any problems in two years.
Im on understanding that baidu spider is a chinese bot like google here in the uk. only way i can think to resolve this issue is to ban baidu spider and all ip address
of these spammers which in our case are from china. there ip address are like from 120.219.136 -120.50.35.6

If u can get acces to your host cPanel, you should be able to ban a range of IP from even seeing your site.
