I thak it would be useful if there was a way of stopping chosen member groups from posting links on the forum.

Most spam nowadays isn't trying to sell stuff to the members, its about posting links to get your google rankings up.

This would just kill it stone dead.

As a moderator, I would feel happier about posting the odd link for genuine new members myself, than deleting spam in posts and signatures.

How about it?
