I seem to recall asking this a while back but now can't find the question/answer.  We've been running version 5 since it was released . . .no real problems but, since some of the spam solutions have to do with the current scripts, we're thinking it might be time to start the long incremental upgrade path.

I know that, if I want to keep our member lists, all the threads, etc., I have to go upgrade by upgrade, right?

What would be the best way to get the the latest version without losing everything we have?

Only way to do is incremental as the user and message databases need to be converted.

Again, I no I saw all this somewhere but the STF doesn't seem to find it.

I'm at Platinum 5 right now.  Do you know the fewest steps to the latest version?  (Also, are the versions available still?)
Again, my main concern is that we not lose the current threads and users.
