Time for me to move on I'm afraid, if we don't have the commitment from the creator of eblah then I see no point in carrying on.

You all take care now.

Martin,

I am so sad to hear that you are going. You have helped me on many occasions in the past.

May I ask you to reconsider please?

Oh, Martin, I am so sorry to hear that!

Do we know what is going on with Justin that he is no longer involved?

Sad news indeed

For me Eblah wont be the same without Martin - he is always my first point of call and ALWAYS provides outstanding support.

If Justin no longer has the time for Eblah maybe he would consider handing over the reins

Thanks for everything Martin, I do hope you reconsider but if you don't I totally understand.

I'd echo the thanks to Martin, and if the project is all but abandoned understand the move.

Eblah is at least stable and appears to be secure - more than has been said of some more well-known boards

I'm torn, I like to wear comfy old shoes, but on the other hand, they wear out and have to be replaced.

Good support has allowed me to integrate one or two tidy extras (especially since perl never appealed to me), as there are some hidden features one can use.

It would be a shame to see it fade away.

Hi - as someone who just found this forum, and is genuinely just beginning with message boards and especially this E-Blah, this whole thread is rather terrifying!  I was hoping to add this kind of feature to our website but this all has me wondering if I'm signing up for something that's about to be gone before I've even begun with it!!??   Is there going to be life after Martin????  There's so much about this I was hoping to find (heck, learn about!) here, and I hate this feeling of being beaten before having even gotten started...  Will check back and hope for the best.  Thanks - Jan

This is a little bit of a concern of ours, with one big forum and the smaller 1043 members we are worried it could go the way of one of our rivals and fold.

Sure and hopeful that this wont happen - Great people on E-Blah always willing to help - so fingers crossed the boss man (Justin) is just taking a rest before coming back re-energised
