hi there,

I have installed the software and have a couple of issues after the install process completed.

Installed on Debian etch following instructions at http://www.blahdocs.com/Performing_a_new_installation_of_E-Blah

- the path to Blah.pl was actually set as blah.pl from the install process, (case issue)

Once i fixed the above error, I can create a user and login but get the following error when trying to create a new thread as a standard or admin user.

-----
There was a problem loading a part of the E-Blah software. The system administrator may be upgrading this forum. If you continue to receive this error after several minutes, please contact the system administrator. Further information relating to this incident is located below.

./Post.pl

Can't find string terminator "EOT" anywhere before EOF at ./Post.pl line 1389.
Compilation failed in require at ./Blah.pl line 111.
This error is logged for security and stability sake. Please contact the system administrator if you have any questions or feel you reached this error by mistake.

thanks

Ok so its better to admit to your own mistakes isnt it?

The answer to the case sensitive Blah.pl is that I typed it in incorrectly during install ...

The answer to the second issue is that there must have been some corruption in the file when it was uploaded or something.

I deleted the install and started again and it all worked fine.

thanks
