Is there anyway to block users from an entire domain from registering? I had human authorization enabled and my web host was kind enough to "upgrade" my hosting package several weeks ago. After I got all of their screw ups resolved I could no longer use human registration. Martin turned me on to Assira for registration and it works great. The problem I am having now though is that ever since I started using Assira I have been getting at least one user per week that signs up with a .ru domain. I suspect that they want to use my site for some nefarious deeds as there is really no reason to be getting a lot of users from the .ru domain. Is there anyway to block the entire .ru domain from accessing or registering on my site?

This is possible, I resurrected an earlier mod that works fine against a whole domain.

You can get more info on it in this thread:

http://www.eblah.com/forum/m-1258509726.57488/

As noted there, I did have to play with the code (and perl is not my first language) but it did work, although I replaced with the captcha option.

If you are interested, then there was an offer by Martin to rejig the code as a mod for the current version of Eblah.
