ok i myself registerd on the site with a password on 10 characters, when i tried to log in i got wrong password over and over again, then for some reason i typed wrong.. i type 8 characters instead of 10. and bamm i was logged in. i made a new account just to state the fact that you can register with how long pw you want but only the first 8 characters will be the password... now how do i fix this and if i cant i would like to get like a pop up window when you are going to register where i can type what i want

By default, the standard password is 8 characters.

You can turn on password encryption via your settings - board modifications, this will make the default password length 25 characters.

Another alternative is to edit Quickcore.pl and change:

$pwlength = $encryption == 2 ? 20 : 8; # Max password length, 20 = MD5 encryption style; 8 = other

Change the 8 to what you want your password lenght to be.
