Howdy,
Just trying to get started with this.  I did all my CHModding in WS_FTP and now I get this error when I try to run my Setup.pl

Quoted Text
Setup has determined that you must manually edit the paths to Settings.pl or other core files. If you need help, contact E-Blah technical support.

The following may help you figure out what your paths are:
Document Root: /home
Script name: Setup.pl
File(s) Not Loaded: ./Code/QuickCore.pl
Reason for failure: No such file or directory

Should I create this /Core folder as well?  I didnt see it in the instructions at http://www.blahdocs.com/Performing_a_new_installation_of_E-Blah
Thanks

Danny

Is this your own server or hosted?

It is hosted.  There is already a cgi-bin directory though.

Then before you can proceed you need to contact your host and as them what your real document_root is.
The script usually reads this but your host must be blocking it.

Hi,
I got the set up done succussfully but now I need to change the look of the forum.  There is no theme found.  Are there themes out there or can I import HTML from my website for this?

There is a theme there... But your forum just has the path to it set wrongly.. Probably due to the problem with your host not relieving it's doc root properly...

There are other themes, but before you can use any of them, you need to get one of them working first.
Paste your paths block from settings.pl here and your document root. We'll correct your paths as best we can.

Hi All,
Just trying to get my theme working here.  Can someone have a look at this and let me know what I need to do to get it running?

The URL to the forum is http://www.irishaftercare.com/cgi-bin/forum/Blah.pl

I get the error message Theme not found!

The path to the root directory is /home/i/r/irishafterca/public_html

I have FTPd template.css, template.html and theme.dat into the /blahdocs/template/ folder.  I have not edited them.  Is it important that the CHMOD be set on those files?

These are my settings

Hi all,
Can I please get some help with this issue?  I'd really like to get the forum theme working so I can link it into the site I am working on.  I also find when I try to change any settings I get an error that ProfileEdit.pl cannot be found.  Can you tell me what folder that file should be in and what the CHMOD should be for it?
Thanks

Danny
