Could someone give me a little help creating a new theme please ?

I'm very happy with my default theme but I'd like one similar but with a cleaner basic black text on write background for the actual boards making it "easier on the eyes" I have a member with sight problems who finds the white text hard to read.

I have uploaded the babyblue theme which kinda works but I'd like to edit the blue background to the dark grey etc to match my default.

thanks in advance

Not sure if you just want to change the background only or the whole forum, categories etc. I know how to change the actual background, but not any other colour changes.

To change the background, go to your admin settings, then to Themes manager, click on the Main CSS Template. All colour changes are kept inside the code of that template. I am running the 10.3.6 version.

For the background only, search in the code for;

body  {
  background-color: (your default colour will be here)

Just type the colour you want to replace the current background, then save. This only changes the background, the sides and bottom of the background, but not the title header.

It's my first time giving any advise, so if it's not what you are looking for, I hope someone with more knowledge will offer their help.
