I saw this done on iCONICA's forum and I tried to do it but I think I failed on the htaccess and the Blah.pl (so basically all the important files).

I need to make E-Blah work in the root html folder of a site. The site I see as an example is http://geekimo.com/

You need to follow the instructions on http://blahdocs.com on mod_rewrite.

I'm not at my development machine right now, but when I am tomorrow, I'll attach my .htaccess file used on GeekIMO. So you can use that.

You'll still have to manually edit Blah.pl according to the guide. I can't give you mine because it's modified in several ways so it won't work on your forum.

Code
RewriteEngine on
RewriteBase /
RewriteRule ^([bcmv]-.+)?$ cgi-bin/forum/Blah.pl?$1 [QSA,L]

That's all that's in my .htaccess file for the rewrite you're trying to do.
What problem did you have?

Original (sorta)

Code
$scriptname = $scriptname || '/forum/'; # Change name of Blah.pl
$modrewrite = $modrewrite || '';       # Setting, mod_rewrite: on = '' | off = '?'

I did

Code
$scriptname = $scriptname || '/';

and it didn't like me very well

Nope, I lied. That did not fix it. All the variables are still in the URL.

Code
b-scrims/v-post/b-scrims/v-post/b-scrims/m-/post-1/m-1247869685/b-scrims//b-scrims//

And that was taken from trying to click the home button.

Is it fixed now?

The variables will still be contained in the URL, but neat and clean as they are here and at GeekIMO. http://geekimo.com/m-1223935118/ for example.

EDIT: Ah, I see you've implemented it perfectly now.
