This mod brings back the Advanced IP Search from the previous version of E-Blah.

I am not totally sure if I did this right so let me know and I'll try and fix it in a later version.

Enjoy

I added a bit of a small feature that my forum really needed (the DNS lookup). I have a problem with people selling their forum accounts to gain privileged information. I added it so they admins could look it up and it and figure out if there is a country change in the IP.

Where does the search function show up after you install the mod?

On the left menu. It should install just under your "Modification Center".

I am not sure if there are any other addons on your forum that add to the main configuration part of the admin section, but if there isn't, it should show up directly  under the "Modification Center" link.

It does show up, but taken me a while to find it too. evixion, maybe post a screenshot here of the area it shows? So users know instantly where to find the mod after installation.

That was the first place I looked. It does not show on my board. I tried switching themes, still no joy.

What version do you use? I am not sure about the differences in E-Blah version yet but if you tell me your version I may be able to adapt it.

I use 10.3.6. I just downloaded the zip file again, unzipped it, ftped it to my mods directory in ascii mod and tried the dns and no dns versions. When i do a test install for either one it says it will install properly. I install them and it says they installed correctly. I look to see if they are there and they are not. Looking at your graphic in the other post, the only thing I see different is that you are using a different theme. I'm going to play around with that and see if I have any success.

I'm pretty sure if all code tests before installation gave green, not red, then it can't fail to show? Surely?
