That's similar to the request you asked for showing them a welcome message. If somebody makes a mod to redirect at the point of registration/sign in to a specific place, then it'd be just as easy to redirect them to /b-1.0/v-post/ for example. Which would show them the post area for the specified thread.

Post a request for such a mod and someone might offer their time, but mods take a long time and right now, unfortunately, i don't have much spare.

What are you trying to accomplish by doing that? If you are trying to give them some general type of information you can use the scrolling news board for it.
