As we discuss about E-Blah Features, As every forum Eblah Also have many problems

I was using Eblah forum for last 4 years  ,I had many issues with eblah and
With the help of eblah technical team  (martin’s and Justin)help I managed to solve many of them .

Can you please share your major problems with eblah . it may help Justin to improve the features in his latest versions

One of my major difficult  even till today is , Automatic  disappear features lol

I , Admin deleted the forum twice  and many of my members deleted automatically,
I don’t believe this is space or server issue .Because I am running 3 other forums in the same host and server and it never happened to me.

Please share your main problems here and also share how you solved it !!!

Two problems i've noticed are:

Guests can't vote on polls even if it's selected on board prefs that all guests can vote on polls...

invite friends feature not showing for guests, I'd think there would be guests who don't want to join themselves but know someone who might...

Calendar events need to have a start date and end date otherwise they don't show up on the calendar (they are searchable and viewable when "manage calendar events" are selected)

None of these are bugs other than the calendar problem, thus far.  lol

If its not bugs ,Its still  unknown problem and many of us having .

I forgot to add one more problem I had with eblah
One day I was  checking FATAL ERROR LOG
And when I clicked on a error link then the forum template is gone.
And thank god  ,I had the back up of board.pl and with help of martin I edited again and solved it

What was the error in the error log?

I, personally, don't log errors here.

I'm sure those are backups, not created by E-Blah.

When viewing the index page, the $mbname" and $title are the same ( E-Blah Community - E-Blah Community on this forum). I was thinking that changing the value returned by &title when viewing the index (home) page into something like 'Board Index' would be a good idea (i.e: E-Blah Community - Board Index).
Furthermore, I think that allowing guest to vote on some polls (chosen by admin) while logging voters' IP address, or something like that, would be a good idea also.

I know. I've reported this problem before but nothing happened... It annoys me also. Your not alone.  

The only Darn pesky problem I have found is my inability to update. there is little documentation I can find. like easily followed details for dummies like me on how to install mods. I have searched and searched so much that mah horse is plum tukered out.

if you download a mod, you will find the instruction on how to install in the .zip file  

There is none in the extra reg fields mod Nat..  

You are not cent percent right Nat , Many modes here comes with Installation guide but there are few modes with NO installation instruction
