Hi everyone!!!

Here is my question. I know my way around my remote hosting sever, I know I can install this without a problem.

But here is my problem:

My website http://www.4dpeek.com is a 3d/4d ultrasound Locations/franchise/training and so on site. We have a secure "back section" that only franchise owners can log-on to to download logos, files, and stuff. I am looking to have this forum placed within this password protected section.

I'm going to assume the install isn't the same, otherwise, my index page would be taken over by the forum correct? How would I make sure that the forum is placed where I want (i.e. within the password protected section)???

Thank you in advance!!!

Steve

You can install the forum in any location, it doesn't have to be the root. So 4dpeek.com/pwdforum/ would do fine. Then you can disable guest registration, then disable showing boards to guests.

That way only registered members can see any of the forum contents. And they can't register, Unless you pre-register them.

Or set the forum so only administrators can approve members then allow guest registration. Anyone who registers will need you to verify their credentials before they have access...

I'm sure martin made a mod for a school with a similar purpose though?
