In response to the closed thread, after i suggested the feature, Justin added it to 10.3.6...

I've got another suggestion. People (me) would sometimes like to know why they've been given a pos or neg rep. I.e.. Which thread invoked that rep addition.

Would it be possible for the next release to add a feature where the forum checks a users last viewed thread and adds a link to that next to the users name on the rep additions user list?

That way users could see they got a pos rep for -this thread- or neg rep for -this thread- and either learn from that or clear up any mis understanding that may have lead to the rep...

Also, I think a setting would be nice where we can specify to either leave the names on the rep additions or the setting could remove the names so rep is anonymous. Sometimes "rep wars" can break out.
Like with "Mr. Steadfast" a few months ago here....

Just a thought..
... or two..

Did this not seem a good idea to anyone else then?

I like the sound of it.  I'm having issues with members complaining about getting negative rep and which thread or post it was from.

Thanks, If others like the idea too, Justin might work it into the next release. Or a mod could be made?
