If you want to edit it, It's line 1239 in cgi-bin/forum/Code/Post.pl

plz dont take offence im crying with laughter.... but thanks, really, no doubt when i get there your 1239th line will be spot on....

EDIT:
PS of course line 1239 varies depending on what viewer you use, as I've just found out trying 'Word' and a C++ editor tool.

Well. No. Line 1239 is line 1239 No matter what editor. You should use an editor worth being called an editor (where line numbers are shown). For example. In Notepad++ you can use Ctrl-G then enter 1239 an go and it will take you to line 1239. in vim you can press 1239gg an it will take you to that line.

I don't think it's a good idea to edit text files in word btw c++ editor should show line numbers as well.

ok I am a plonker - I dont have NotePad++ nor Vim nor any other application that accurately counts lines.
Something I thought I had infered in my previous post.
So what I find curious is why you find time to explain so clearly how pathetic my programming knowledge is etc when at the same time you could have simply identified the line in question, thus bringing this all to a happy conclusion!
As is, I still havnt managed to find the Line which you have so cleaverly found!
Back to WoW for another few hours!

Sorry. Didn't mean to be rude. I thought you got it in the meantime...

It's this line:
Code
1239:  <td style="padding: 0px; width: 180px;" class="win2 vtop smalltext">$profile{$username}</td>

It's in the class "win2" but if you want to give it a new class in the CSS it's in load.pl.

and "line 1239" depends on what mods you have installed and exactly what version/nightly, Not which editor your using...

Hope I Helped!!

In the X2 themes, the class win2 doesn't contain any size information.

I haven't thought of mods Sorry. I think most ones will use the stable release from the download page, no?

To my previous posts: I was wrong. It's not that line in Post.pl but its line 427 in MessageDisplay.pl

Code
427: <td class="win2 smalltext vtop" style="padding: 0px; width: 180px;">$profile{$user}</td>

Sorry for directing you wrong.
Tested and working with modding this width!

ok - thanks for your responses:
first off Im using E-Blah 10.3.5
with the addition of the WOW theme pack!

I can adjust the width param of line 427 down to 140 - anything below that and the width moves the column seperator to 50% of window!
Anyway Ive set it to 140 and that is just ok for what I wanted.
Thanks again for your inputs.

Ps does anyone have a listing of the all the style sheet params mapped to the attributes they effect.
That would make life so much easier
Regards
Duncan

Actually, it's in MessageDisplay.pl.  lol

Edit that file.  Or, you could (possibly) edit the CSS template,

Code
/* Mini-profile:
	Fancy --> title and value
	Plain --> On one line
	Avatar --> Just the avatar and stats (stars)
*/
.fancyprofilet, .fancyprofilev, .plainprofile {
	padding: 5px;
}

.avatarprofile {
	margin     : 10px;
	line-height: 2.3;
}

Somewhere around there.  Just toss a width: 500px and see if it changes it?

I do installs for $25 and upgrades for $20.
