I have developed a new tag for one of my forums called Members Only. In the post options you can enclose a thread with [mem]your thread[/mem]

When enclosed with this new tag,only members will be able to read the thread Guests will see [Members ONLY]

This is an ideal way to hide certain posts if you have Guest posting or viewing enabled.

Would anyone be interested in this ?

That's about it. Say you had a post with a link but didn't want Guests to see the link, you would just wrap the link in the [mem] tag and they would see [Members ONLY] in the middle of the thread. Or you could hide the complete thread if you wanted. This is pure code where as the "Spoiler" mod uses javascript.
