After spending several hours cleaning up url anchors in my messages to get them all consistent (some had the www before my domain name and others didn't, which then causes issues with cookies), I was thinking it would be great if the button allowed for easy linking to other threads on the same forum.

For example, rather than the user posting in the entire URL of the message they wish to link to, they could choose "create link to message number: ______" and paste in the message number. The URL should then be rendered as a relative URL such as "./cgi-bin/forum/blah?m-123456789" instead of "http://yourdomainname/cgi-bin/forum/blah?m-123456789".

Even better if on 'Post' it would recognise a local domain link and change it to a relative path.

Keep up the great work folks.

Codenix.

You do know that you can, with a .htaccess file, make sure that users are on http://www.yoursite.com, right?  If you tried going to eblah.com it'll make certain you have www before it.

http://forums.seochat.com/google-optimization-7/htaccess-www-to-non-www-142850.html

Try that.

Also, I think the censor list will also filter things like that, too, but I'm not sure.

I do installs for $25 and upgrades for $20.
