After our board was set up, my partner logged in on the administrative account she was given. She set me up as an administrator, too.

I logged on as administrator and started rearranging things. In the process, I changed the status of the user group she and I were both associated with from "administrator" to "member". So, now, there is no administrator for our board and neither of us can log on to change anything.

Besides telling me what an airhead I am   , can you tell me how to fix it?

Thank you.

If you go to the members directory, find out which member number you are, you can open the 1.dat 2.dat etc.. till you see your email address in those files. Thats you!

if your member 1. find the ranks2.txt file from the prefs directory open that and you'll find some text like below, just add your member number to that, when you reupload that file you'll be an administrator again.

Code
Administrator => {
name = 'i-CONICA'
color = 'red'
colorcodes = '1'
team = '1'
coverup = '1'
desc = 'Forum Administrator'
star = 'stype2.gif'
starcount = '5'
level = '10'
manager = (1)
members = (2,23,1,54) <<<< enter your number here
}

hope that helps!

It worked! Thanks so much. I learned a lot by poking around in there, too.
