I figured I should ask FIRST - if the forum directory can be installed in the domain specific root directory.

E.g:

http://www.yoursite.com/forum/

It will depend on your host. E-Blah can be installed at any level as long as perl is activated at that level.
Most hosts will only allow perl scripts to run in cgi-bin.
