3 Questions about the new Registration fields Mod on 10-3-5

I uploaded and installed the new registration fields mod for E=Blah 10-3-5 and it says that it installed correctly.  The new fields information shows in the admin setup and I was able to add a full user name field to the Registration screen.  How do I get this new information to show in the forum?  I do not find the full name that is entered in this field anywhere.

When I installed the mod it took me two tries.  The first install I forgot to un zip  the file and the mod did not install correctly.  I did not uninstall the first mod, just installed the unzipped version on top of the first.  Said it installed correctly, is this going to be a problem?

I added only the user name field to the registration screen and did not add the full address field.  When I require the user name field and than submit I get a message that I did not fill in the  full address even though there is no place to do that.  If I don't require the field it works ok but still can't find the info on the forum.  I was able to add user name in one of the extra field boxes and require it and this worked OK, but still does no show in the Forum.

I am a new user and do not know what a tag is.  Sorry I did not enter one.

I love E=Blah and it will work well for our club, thank you for all the work and support.

Hi tim, the extra registration fields mod was created by a third party, according to martin, so the eblah guys haven't checked over the code yet. Another user reported problems with it too, so now martin is going to trawl through the code to make it 100% perfect!

A tag is a new feature, it allows eblah to create a "cloud" of popular search terms in the search section, for example for this thread you'd enter "registration, fields, mod, modification, user name"

So when a user is going to search for something the cloud below shows a list of tags, helps people who are not sure what to search for too...

If your forum is fully functional apart from the lack of the extra fields then i'd wait until the mod is corrected by martin soon!

Thank you for the information.

I noticed there is a warning in the modification center about removing mods,  Can I remove the new reg mod without causing problems?

Thanks

Hi Tim

In the Mod center do a test uninstall and it will tell you if it will uninstall correctly.  If it tells you it will unistall correctly then you can do it.

Hope this helps!
