Charlotte do you mean post pics on your forum from their photobucket pictures?
If so, all they need to do is copy the URL of whatever size version of the pic they want from photobucket, small to medium being the best, and paste the link between 2 the image tags in the post window that you get when you click the the insert image button.

If Photobucket gives you HTML code for posting your images in forums, you need to enable HTML on your forum. Then you can use Photobucket's automatically generated code. If you don't want to enable HTML, you can just copy the image location and paste it inside of the image tags.

Even if your idea seems whack, stick with it and make it happen.

Hi, Charlotte, The code will look like this btw.

Code
<img src="http://i61.photobucket.com/albums/h65/afsdadsf4/DSC03208.jpg" alt="Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting"><br><br>
<img src="http://i61.photobucket.com/albums/h65/afsdfa4/DSC03211.jpg" alt="Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting"><br><br>
<img src="http://i61.photobucket.com/albums/h65/asdfaa4/DSC03213.jpg" alt="Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting"><br><br>

the <br> tag makes the pictures "go under each other" rather than next to each other which would look a mess.

The alt="" tag is a description that will be shown if for some reason the image cant be displayed, also when your mouse over it will pop up with the contents of that alt tag.

Hope that help!

That should work, but you need to have HTML enabled for posting images with the <img></img> tags. It will display text otherwise. Another way you could do it is by typing this [img][/img] and pasting the image url inside of the tags.

Charlotte, you keep saying you have a problem with Photobucket, but you've carefully avoided telling what that problem is so far, so no-one can offer any useful advice or thoughts. Can you say what is going wrong?

There is nothing that needs to "Be Done" to make Photobucket and E-Blah work together: Photobucket is merely an online image host where users can upload pics to them available online, using the url or address given eg http://i282.photobucket.com/albums/kk265/pigeonglobe/usaflag.gif; and E-Blah provides the standard [ img ] and [ /img ] tags to place the address between, which makes the image appear as an image, and not an address.

There is no need to enable HTML, which is a bad idea anyway, even more so if you are not a programmer, and there are no non-standard settings required to make the [ img ] tags work.

Use the quote option this message to see what it looks like.

Nothing special needs to be done to achieve this "straight out of the box" as it were.

If you place the images and test above one another, that's how they'll appear, without having to do anything special:

A Flag

A Pigeon

A Sign

A Loft

If you stick them beside each other (never do this though, it generally looks terrible) then they appear beside each other (these items genuinely are all on the one line, but length of the address makes them word wrap inside the edit box):

Flag Pigeon
Loft
