I have a couple of questions again both are stupid but hey not to worry

1 - I want to create a category but i want members to click on this and for several sub categories to come up but only the main category is visible on the main board - how do i acheive this?

2 - I want to put text straight under each picture in a post how do i do this.

Hope i have explained well enough

Thanks in advance

hey charlotte, your first question is beyond me, i'm not sure its possible, one of the team will have to answer that, but your second question is quite simple. I think....
Do you mean when you either use [ img ] path-to-image [/img ] which is BB code or the HTML equivalent? like in my thread here http://forum.i-conica.net/cgi-bin/forum/Blah.pl?m-1209530231/ You can see the text is directly underneath this. If thats what your asking then you simply use just one break <b-r /> (without -) after your image code then start typing like so...

This text is right under the eBlah logo...

That what you were asking? Its quiet hard to show you here because this forum doesn't allow HTML in the posts.

Oh Thank You!

BTW i just thought.... If you meant text under an attached image thats different when you attach an image using E-Blah's upload feature it will put it in the same place every time, you can't write under it.

If you really want to write under the image, like my above post, you'd need to be linking to the image, so either use your FTP client to upload the image/s or use photobucket and get the url for the image. that way you can write directly under it like in the thread i linked you to above.

Go to "Boards and Categories" click each board and where it says "board image" you can add an image url there. Then in admin/settings, tick "Show Board Description on Message Index?" which will show that image along with the description in the top of each boards message list.

Hope that's what you meant...
