One of the members on my Forum wants to add an image to his signature and I couldn't help him.  I can see the image icon in the editor for the signature and when you click on it, it adds the html code.  How do you then import an image?

Here's an example, this is my signature:

Code

If you just want an image it will be:

Code

I must be getting better at this.  I took me a little bit, but I eventually understood what you were showing me.  I tried it and it does work as I was successful in adding an image to my signature.  Its too bad there is not a simple way for the users to do this however.  It would be nice if they could click on the add image and then be able to brouse for one and add it.

Is there anywhere on the E-Blah site that talks a little bit about this?

Thanks for the help
Bill

that is the basic standard way to add images, you can upload images to your "uploads" folder then link to it that way. or use flickr then link to that maybe?

That feature isnt there because people don't often use pictures as a signature, pictures are mostly used in the avatar, and an upload function exists in that.

Good idea though, maybe it will be in a future release justin?

You could use the WYSIWYG editor, which is a little easier.

I do installs for $25 and upgrades for $20.

What is the WYSIWYG editor and how do I access it?

They say "there are no dumb questions", but some of my questions come awfully close
