I guess i am missing something, but here goes. Running version 10.3

I want to set it up so that only non-members will have to see the nastey ads, but at the moment i have the board set so all see it so i can make sure it works. I have ad code from google after setting up an accout with them, but when i paste the script in, nothing happens on the boards. I searched the source code of the completed html for key words i see in the ad code, and nothing ever shows up.

Any hints on what i am missing?

also think i may have found a bug in the portal news. i see threads and posts when not logged in that should not be viewable.

I like your forum.  Just wanted to say that.  I think I like the layout more than anything.  Yeah I just logged in as a guest and could see the post in the news, but couldn't access the thread... so I see what you mean.

Aye, I know i can just remove the forums i want to keep private, but was hoping to leave them as they are so those that are able to read those forums would see them at the top of the list when there were new posts.

Still tweaking it yet.. Been looking for a flat file based forum for some time and love the way this one works. Also found the link in here to a backup program to backup the entire site or just the forum sections. just awesome.

Make sure that the users are not allowed to view the boards, not just disallowed from viewing threads.
