Greetings!

1st off: Thanks for validating my registration Mr. Osborne!

Ok, I did try looking to make sure there were no .htaccess files in there. Even doing a file search does nothing but pull them up inthe other directories. Just not in /blahdocs.

-EDIT-
Adding in what I emailed to Mr. Osborne for others to view.

Im having setting up e-blah10.3.5. Im experiencing the typical "no theme" issue. I looked through the boards to try and find the answer myself but no luck. I am using Linux. Setup apparently was successful. Got rid of the red box. Verified my paths were correct in the forum's configurations and yet, I still cannot get any themes to load.

Is there anything else I can do or might be missing?

Yeah sure! Oh, and sorry for the delay.

http://www.phyer.com/artblaze/Blah.pl

This is my own server. Im running on PCLinux and using Abyss webserver.

More or less, I set up the forum to confirm I had Perl setup correctly. So, I am interested in a pretty good step-by-step on properly configuring eblah when Im ready to set it up again on other sites Im hosting.

Thanks

This has got to be a permissions problem or path problem, download the attached, unzip, uoload in ASCI to your forum folder, CHMOD to 755 and run, check your DOCUMENT_ROOT

All permissions for that directory are open. I unzipped the Perlinfo file you sent and moved it there. Was I supposed to run it in my browser? Either way, its in there and theres no change.

Hi phyerboss

Yes, Martin wants you to run the script.  Just type in your browser the full url path to the script and see what you have.  Example would be: http://www.yoursite.com/cgi-bin/forum/perlinfo.pl

Let Martin know what info he needs and I know he'll be able to help you.

Have A Wonderful Day!

Dare I risk sounding like a total newb but must eBlah be in the cgi-bin?^^;

I have the blahdocs folder in the same folder as eblah. Also, I did try to run it(which is why i was asking*) and I kept getting a 500 error.

A standard/normal install, the forum folder is in cgi-bin and blahdocs is in public_html or htdocs

pm me your admin password so I can take a look at your settings.
