Hi! I'm the guy at Opera Software responsible for keeping our browser working with E-Blah.
If you've got any specific problems with Opera and this tool, don't have any hesitations contacting me about them.

The first thing I'm curious about is about the WYSIWYG editing. I've been trying in vain to get anything at all to happen when pressing the bold, italics etc. buttons at our own test site as well as the demo site here: http://www.eblah.com/tryout/Blah.pl - and I've tried in IE7, Firefox 2, Safari as well as Opera, and nothing happens in any of them on these sites.

But in this forum, it suddenly works!
Do any of you have an idea what the difference is between the demo site and this site?
Different versions? WYSIWYG turned off at the demo site (seems unlikely)?

Justin, there is a javascript error on the test site.

'document.msend.message' is null or not an object

Hmm, it's probably a path issue to the .js files (blahdocs directory set incorrectly).

Is the browser able to find this file?

I do installs for $25 and upgrades for $20.

Hi!  I was just comparing a few different free forum software and I found this one quite by accident.  I wanted to point out that the WYSIWIG editor problem in the demo most likely happens in all browsers (at least it happens in Firefox and Internet Explorer for me).  Of course if it's because of a javascript error that explains it anyhow.

ps - obviously the same error doesn't occur here.

I'll add this to my list to fix.  I've really need to upgrade that version, just haven't found the time to do so.

Don't forget to fix the CSS for the initial menu problem.  That could deter some users away.

There's also this page for someone who had a similar problem:
http://www.experts-exchange.com/Programming/Languages/Scripting/JavaScript/Q_21672869.html

Go all the way down to see the solution.
