Am I understanding this correctly?

E-Blah does not use a database application, instead it uses flat files to manage forum content?

I removed that version and downloaded the SQL beta.  If the SQL version wasn't available, I'd still use your software - for some reason, I just prefer database management.

There was a minuscule problem I encountered though, dealing with the forum navigation menu alignment.  On initial rendering, the page displays some of the links under the others like "Search/Member Center/Logout" would be under the Home/Calendar.  After a browser refresh, the alignment is fixed.

This is most likely associated with the loading of the CSS file or the rendering of HTML.  Because if the page in browser's cache it seems to be good, but come back to it the next day (sometimes after closing the browser) and it'll happen again.  Just something to think about.

The final question I'm putting into this thread is wondering if there are any considerations for PostgreSQL in addition to mySQL and SQLite?  I read in the wiki that it supports mySQL and SQLLite at the moment, but wasn't sure if it also supported PostgreSQL.  PostgreSQL is free high-end database that is most likely going to replace the mySQL's out there.  It is popping up more and more amongst free hosts and we use it at work so it'd be nice to not have to modify your code and just use your install routine.

Future modifications to the forums: it'd be nice to have a points/store system where users gain forum abilities by posting more or participating throughout the site.  These abilities extend to posting signatures, thumbnails, links to their sites, and games.  A good software to look at is vBulletin that implements this.

Thank you for all your hard work.  I was in the process of doing the same thing you all have done here, but now I don't have to!  We all appreciate it and if I'm able to use your software on my personal site (not my work one - it'd be used on intranet not the www), then I'll surely donate a percent of the profits as they start coming.

I do not have a PostgreSQL server to work with and at the moment simply don't have time to look into expanding the SQL version (sadly ).  The modifications shouldn't be too difficult though, if you edit the mysql.pm file located in the EBlah directory.

I do installs for $25 and upgrades for $20.
