Hi.

I wish to write a portal module, but quite frankly, except examining already made modules (and there isn't much of them) I have no idea where to start.

So could someone point me into the right direction?

I've only written one so far, this is for announcements and I'm still testing it.

Can you be more specific in what you want the module to do.

Well, I'd just like to use my C programs output (which is is XML base of some site), using CGI, and then interpretate it, to show it in the portal.
And the ability to add notes.

Well, I wouldn't have to use that programs output, because it can be easily be done with Perl all the same.
