I had my forum set up at http://www.connectlan.com/cgi-bin/forum/Blah.pl With my ftp client I transfered the blahdocs folder (in bianry mode) to a folder on my local system. I transfered the Forum folder (in ascii mode) to my local system. Transfered these files from my system to http://www.midnightgardenerblog.com. Everything works (except viewing messages) and all users are there. It looks like I lost access to all of the posts that had been made before the transfer. I can see and view them with my ftp client, I just cannot access them in the forum. I'm pretty sure that my problem is this: old path was absolute; new path resides on a server that hosts three different domains with same account. the ftp structure for the directory that everything resides in shows an html directory and a cgi-bin directory and a directory for midnightgardenerblog. If I click on the midnightgardenerblog, that directory has its own cgi and html directory. This is where I put the respective blah files. Somehow I need to change the absolute path to my messages. How can I do this?
