Well, I'm dropping this in here in the hopes some information can be provided. Currently running version 10.3.3

I've been getting reports, from some users, that the forum loads slowly for them and hangs. I'm unable to confirm any of this as the forum runs fine for me. The problem seems to be mostly centered around users that are using multiple instances of IE or Firefox. And I've had a few users say that the problem resolved after they began using tabs in place of multiple windows.

Now, normally, I would think this is a problem on the users end. But they also have reported that my Eblah forum is the only place they have encountered the problem.

So, if anyone has any suggestions on how to resolve this issue, I'm all ears.

It could be a number of things. It depends on the user's machine and internet connection as well as browser plugins etc. In Firefox, if a user has a lot of plugins loaded, it can take a while to load pages. Also, if the user's internet is slow, sometimes it will load pages very slowly. I get this occasionally, but not too often.

Even if your idea seems whack, stick with it and make it happen.

Do you have any JavaScript?  Are you using compression (GZIP) on the pages (Admin/Settings)?  A large click-log file can make the forum very slow server-side, disable or lower that if that's the case.

No, no compression. Though, I can see the click log perhaps being an issue. But wouldn't that effect everyone?

Well, at the moment I'm running polls and collecting information to see if a pattern will emerge. If one does, I'll post it here.

Yeah, click logging will effect everyone.  If you enable Gzip, it will certainly help speed up the downloading of pages.
