Just installed the latest version of eblah. Had it all working and then set password encryption to md5. Immediately  the page jumped to an error page when I saved the changes and logged me out of eblah. When I try to log back in now or register a new account at http://www.connectlan.com/cgi-bin/forum/Blah.pl?v-register/, I get the following error:

Software error:

Can't locate GD/SecurityImage.pm in @INC (@INC contains: /usr/local/lib/perl5/site_perl/5.8.2/mach /usr/local/lib/perl5/site_perl/5.8.2 /usr/local/lib/perl5/site_perl /usr/local/lib/perl5/5.8.2/BSDPAN /usr/local/lib/perl5/5.8.2/mach /usr/local/lib/perl5/5.8.2 . .) at ./Code/Register.pl line 158.

For help, please send mail to the webmaster ([no address given]), giving this error message and the time and date of the error.

The server my site is on does not use perl as near as I can tell so I assume that the path to the file it wants is wrong but I am not sure how to correct it. The server does have a cgi-bin directory if that makes a difference.

You'll need to download GD::SecurityImage.

http://search.cpan.org/dist/GD-SecurityImage/

Some servers will not support this though.

I do installs for $25 and upgrades for $20.

What directory does this go in on the server? What are the file permissions set to?

The GD/SecurityImage directory should go to the same directory Blah.pl is in.

Justin, thanks for your help but I am lost here. Exactly what files get put on the server, what directory do they go in, what permissions get set. Can you explain it in such a way so that someone that has no clue understands the process? The stuff I see when I go to the links you posted means nothing. Thanks for all of your help.
