Change this in Routines.pl:

Code
	$homemenu = qq~<a href="$surl">$Mimg{'home'}</a>~;

Just add a link to $surl after you replace that one so you can still get to the Board Index.

I do installs for $25 and upgrades for $20.

Sorry,  but I didn't get it.  I would also like to have the Home Button link back to the Home Page of my website,  but don't understand the steps involved. I suspect that if I change this button to do so, we won't be able to leave an area sach as a message displayed and return to the index page of the Forum by hitting the "Home" button any longer.  Is there a method in which I can leave the "Home" button alone and add an Icon to click on to take me to the Website Home Page?

I appoligize if this is confusing,  as I am having difficulity in choosing word to describe what I wan to be able to do.

What Justin was saying was to add a new line like this to Routines.pl:
Code
$home = qq~<a href="http://www.yourwebsite.com/>Home</a>~;

Then add $home to the $menubar list and you're set. I have my menubar setup exactly like this one. Ask me if you have any questions.

I am 66 years old as of today.  And they say you can't teach an old dog new tricks....dangit....they are right!  Here is what I have done and it appears to have changed nothing.  The home button still refreshes the forum screen or returns me to the forum home screen if I am reading messages.  It does not taje me to my website home page.

     $homemenu = qq~<a href="$surl">$Mimg{'home'}</a>~;
     $calmenu = qq~<a href="$surl\lv-cal/" rel="nofollow">$Mimg{'cal'}</a>~;
     $searchmenu = qq~<a href="$surl\lv-search/~; $searchmenu .= "b-$URL{'b'}/" if($URL{'b'}); $searchmenu .= qq~">$Mimg  {'search'}</a>~;
                $home = qq~<a href="http://www.subasepearldet716.freehosting.net/>Home</a>~;[/color]
                $menubar = '<div class="menubar">'.$homemenu.$sep.$help.$Mmsp2.$calmenu.$Mmsp2.$searchmenu.$Mmsp2.$home

No, that's more complicated.

Change

$homemenu = qq~<a href="$surl">$Mimg{'home'}</a>~;

to

$homemenu = qq~<a href="/">Go to the Website<a/>$Mmsp2<a href="$surl">$Mimg{'home'}</a>~;

Move things around and experiment!  $Mimg{'home'} is the image or the image and text, it just depends on how you have your icons set up in Admin/Settings.  Here it's the ltitle house icon with "Home".

Thanks Justin that did it.  It created a new box "Go to website" on the menue bar.  There is no icon,  but that is not a big deal.  Now I will leave you guys alone if you will tell me how to change the administrator user name and password from the default.  Please be asspiciffic as you can as you can see I am not a programmer.  I can fallow instructions if there are pictures <grin>.

Thanks again for the support.  You don't know how much I appreciate it.  I tried four or five forum programs before trying yours.  I couldn't get them to work and there was vertially no support.  My hat's off to E-Blah!

Hey guys, I followed these instructions and i came up with this
Code
$homemenu = qq~<a href="http://www.i-conica.net">Go to the Website<a/>$Mmsp2<a href="$surl">$Mimg{'home'}</a>~;

This works  to ad a text link next to the Home button back to my site. I wanted to ad a button though, so i did this
Code
$homemenu = qq~<a href="http://www.i-conica.net">$Mimg{'website'}<a/>$Mmsp2<a href="$surl">$Mimg{'home'}</a>~;

I added the website.png image to the same directory as the "home" and "cal" etc.... buttons. in the same .png format in the same 90x30px dimensions.
It didn't show anything when i used the second code. the first code works in practice but its only a text link, is my second code wrong for the button link?

Hey Thank you soo much for the new button, I'm sure that took a lot of time and effort, I really appreciate that.

I will use those buttons, im not sure why my code above wont work though, i can change my "home" image but the code either shows just a text link to my  site or if i put the image in the right place and name it, like in the code above it shows nothing.
