I have uploaded all of the files to my server, which supports CGI-BIN as there is a cgi-bin directory. I CHMODed all of the files, but some folders didn't exist, so I created them and set their permissions accordingly. When run my website (http://scworld.890m.com/cgi-bin/forum/setup.pl) I get an error saying that the page wasn't found. Do I have to add public_html to the address to get it to work?

Any help would be appreciated.

EDIT: http://scworld.890m.com/public_html/cgi-bin/forum/setup.pl gives me an Internet Explorer Cannot Display this Page error.

Are you sure that you uploaded Setup.pl? Check your FTP server to see if it exists.

It's definitely uploaded and it appears in my File Manager...

EDIT: I have asked my hosting provider to see if they can help as well.

Firstly the URL should be: http://scworld.890m.com/cgi-bin/forum/Setup.pl

Secondly, you have either not CHMOD the files correctly, Blah.pl and Setup.pl to 755 and Settings.pl to 666 or you do not have cgi support as the file wants to download instead of run.

I have CHMODed the files correctly and the host actually says that it supports cgi-bin, which is backed up by the fact that the server has a cgi-bin folder in it by default. The support there haven't got back to me yet, so they might know something...

I tried HeartInternet, but for them you appear to buy a domin name from them because I can't find the Add Domain... option and I would like free hosting. If somebody could tell me how to add a domain to HeartInternet then I would be delighted, as their Webspace/Bandwidth is brilliant.
