I'm running E-Blah 10.3.3 with 02.01.08 Media Mod for 10.2.5.  It sill seems to work great in IE 6 - 7, older versions of Netscape, and maybe some other Mozilla browsers!

I would just like to report the lastest Firefox (2.0.0.12) does NOT seem to like it.  Nothing shows up in the embedded video area, although the code is there when I do a view source.

Maybe it's just me, but I wanted to bring it up.  Any ideas appreciated.

All the best,

Jimbo

Martin,

Thanks for the quick response.

Agreed.  I must have sumthin' "askew."

Perhaps I don't have the correct media MOD.

Can you please direct me to the appropriate one for 10.3.3?

Thank you and all the best,

Jimbo

Jimbo

The media mod you have should work fine, maybe you are missing a FF plugin. What file will not run, maybe a link to it so I can see if it runs in my FF.

Martin,

Here's a sample link that won't run for me.  I have the FF plugin, as I can see your videos and audio.  None of my flash videos seem to play either.

In help would be appreciated,

All the best,

Jimbo

Thanks, Martin!     It works great within the forum now.

Now, if you are willing to take a look, IE plays the video fine when passing it through the E-Blah RSS feed that is rendered with RSS2HTML, but the newer FireFox doesn't "see" it:

Here's the same thread, but on our "News" page:

Thoughts?

Thank you very much again and all the best,

Jimbo

I don't think the rss feed has picked up on the latest code as it is inserting <object id='mediaPlayera'

On your forum it is now inserting <object id='VIDEO'

Whoops!     I forgot that I'm running a different code base on the forum that sends the RSS feed, but it shares data with the other forum.    Installing the media.pl file there seemed to fixed it.

Thanks again, Martin, and all the best,

Jimbo
