I am trying my hardest to find info to things on this site but its not very easy especially for someone at my stage. Im sure that the time i have been on this web site is longer than what it says on the panel.

1. has anyone got a location where i can d/l the 2 files i have just deleted out of the cgi folder by mistake. (I  deleted the forum folder because i think i left it on auto when i uploaded it) ... they are go daddy files.....   gdform.cgi and gdformssl.cgi. ive already contacted go daddy and i am waiting for them to get back - but im geting desperate now to get this forum running and this is taking too long.

2. Am i running the latest version of the eblah forum? - I mean it when i say IT IS NOT CLEAR TO ME which one is - i believed that the one I d/l'ed was the latest version by the way it was displayed on the website - i have .......... eblah-sql-beta-3 -  is this the latest? the install program said something about updating to 10.2.5!!! I thought that was the old version

This site is directed at people who already know how to make websites isnt it? If i pay to get it installed then im not learning anything and not only that - it means its not free which is the wjole reason why i went for this forum in the first place. There are just so many unexplained pitfalls its unbelievable - its depressing.

Thats been updated im sure - when i was on there last time it looked to me like the 3.5 version was a completely new version - maybe im just stupid or too quick or too presumptious, nvm. I might just as well delete the whole lot and install that then.

BUt do u think i will need those 2 files that i deleted out of the cgi directory?

And should i delete/clear that database i created or will it over right it?

Its ok - i just started afresh and now it is all working. Ive actually posted another post on the "forum help" board with regards to the message on the control panel ... i need to remove that. I have no problem with the credits list and all the rest of that but that bible quote needs to be removed and thats vital before i can do anything else. I would uninstall the entire server if i thought that that message had to stay there. That will be seen by every single admin that logs into that panel...

I have created a separate post for it though as i said
